The Crew

We are most proud of our employees at Fitzgerald’s! Without our crew, we’d be just another bike shop dressed as an Irish Pub. If you want to get to know us, here’s a start.

Scott Fitzgerald

After working for bike shops in Vermont, Portland, and Jackson Hole, Scott started Fitzgerald’s Bicycles in 2002 and kept grabbing more of his friends to come join the family. Known by some to be the busiest man alive, most wouldn’t know it because he is generally cracking jokes and taking it easy. But make no mistake, when Fitzy decides something is going to happen, it happens. For instance, most jump parks take the better part of a decade to go up. Victor Idaho’s jump park went up in months. When Fitzy put’s on his stamp of approval, consider it done.

Jannine Fitzgerald

It doesn’t take anyone long to realize Jannine Fitzgerald is the real boss. Buying, merchandising, and generally keeping Fitzy in check are her primary duties. After growing up and going to school in New York, Jannine found the calling of the west and moved to Dubois, WY before coming to Jackson Hole. While preparing her bike for a 2 month tour of Mongolia she realized the true meaning of the expression, “Know your bike, Love you mechanic”. She now lives with Scott and all their animals in Victor, ID and can be found dividing her time between the Mountain and Road bike whenever she’s not dealing.

Brandon Campisi

Brandon Campisi grew up in Texas but found a love for Mountain Biking in the mountains of Colorado. After going to school in Fort Collins, Brandon came to Jackson and began putting his years of retail experience to use at Fitzgerald’s in 2007. Before long he rose the ranks to Sales Manager and Fitzy’s life has been remarkably better ever since! Whether it’s selling a bike or diving into a remodel project, he’s always ready to help. Remember, if you come to the shop asking for Fitzy, it’s really Brandon you want!

Kirsten Klein

Employee number 1! Quite possible Fitzy’s best financial decision was to hire Kirsten Klein to run the office at the shop. Back in 2002, while fixing bikes, helping customers, and ordering parts through a phone ear bud Scott realized he needed some help. That’s when Kirsten came in to start helping with the books a bit, and of course printing signs and price tags (her favorite). It’s been a long journey and Kirsten has stepped it up huge by now filling the role of Cheif Financial Officer for the shop. Gone are the days of printing signs, she’s only printing the checks now! And if you need a snowboard instructor, Kirsten’s a fully certified Level 3 bad ass at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Warren

Warren Ostler

Warren is the tall guy in the back with the smile on his face. If you are in the shop and curious about the most up to date trail conditions, War-Dog is the man to ask. You can also find him commuting to and from Wilson, but mostly he is planning bike missions on the pass. Brraappp!

Andy Zimmerman

Andy, former river rat, found himself in an interview at Fitzgerald’s with a scruffy beard and 17 patches on his Carhartt’s. Grade A scumbag. Slightly cleaned up (he actually has a roof over his head now), he is usually finding inventive ways to get coffee into the shop now that Tony (former coffee companion) is gone. Occasionally he helps out with event planning and marketing.

Matt Shlim

Matt started working in the glory days of Fitzgerald’s Bicycles when he was 12 years old. Paraglider, world traveller, off-road unicyclist - Matt has had more life experiences than most people do in their entire lives. But wait! He’s in college now - which means only one thing. NO PARENTS!!

Jay Petervary

If you were tracking the Continental Divide Race last year you you may have noticed at one point every racer was camped for 5 hours or more, but Jay, and his wife Tracey, were still biking. And if you checked the weather, you may have asked yourself, “self, why are Jay and Tracey riding in this foul weather?” It’s because they’re sick bastards. That’s why. Jay’s a multi record breaking endurance athlete, while simultaneously joining the ranks with some of the best bike-fitters in the country, located right here in Jackson Hole.

Kris Tanner

Kris moved to Jackson in the spring of 2011 to join the Fitzgerald’s Crew and to live the dream like the rest of us. Moving from Minnesota - he immediately accredited Jackson for having the first real mountains that he had the privilege to play on. We can’t be more psyched to have him on our team!

Jessica Egenberger

Every good business has one - the person who holds everything together. Keeps the boys inline. Reminds you to brush your teeth. Aside from keeping us organized and running the show from behind the scenes - Jess lives with a great mantra: How much closer can you get to Heaven than skiing or biking on a mountain side? Good question!

Jason Zigmunt

Jason grew up in Colorado, but moved up to the real mountains as soon as he could. When he’s not helping out at the shop, you can find him schralping the single track or riding his fixie around town. And watch our for his cunning humor - he’ll get you when you least expect it!

Kyle Dowman

A good ole East Coast boy, Kyle graduated college with high hopes to be the best mountain townie he could. He often asks for advice, things like “How do I convince my parents that I am utilizing my degree here?” A sticky question for sure - you’ll learn young grasshopper - just skirt the conversation and go for a ride!
