Last Sunday the staff of The Nine Bar and Fitzgerald’s Bicycles huddled around the coffee bar. And no, we were not seeking a cortado, we were getting trained on our new menu! We now offer an expanded food menu, more seating and free WiFi.
Check out the menu:
In partnership with Stacy at Thyme Out (that awesome cafe upstairs at MD Nursery), we’ve developed a menu that will keep you satisfied from breakfast through lunch. All our burritos and sandwiches are freshly made and pre-wrapped so you can take them out on your outdoors adventure riding or skiing.
On Sunday, we all tasted the breakfast burritos and let me tell you they disappeared fast (as you might imagine free food at a bike shop would). The burritos are amazing with options for the meat lover and the veggie lover.
As for the sandwiches the surprise for Fitzy is that he really liked the veggie sandwich, the Podium. As a self-proclaimed olive avoider, Fitzy was kinda nervous that he wouldn’t like a sandwich that contained olives. But the olives add a saltiness without the bitterness that olives can bring to this very filling sandwich. In addition to olives, the Podium features roasted eggplant, onions marinaded in balsamic vinegar, roasted peppers, Fontina and mascarpone cheese. Yummy. Meat lovers, never fear because we also offer an Italian style sandwich and a turkey sandwich.
Our soups are also delicious! The White Bean & Turkey Chili is our stand-by and we will rotate a selection of Soup of the Day regularly. And don’t forget the beer bread toast with your soup.
We are open at 7 am Tuesday through Friday and 8 am on Saturday and Sunday. So stop by and pick up breakfast and coffee before heading to the ‘Ghee or hang out in your neighborhood cycling cafe and enjoy lunch.
