Thinking about your training plan for this winter?

Already thinking of your winter training plan for cycling? Or are you already dreaming of skate skiing on crisp fresh corduroy?

Teton Nordic Team INTRODUCES NORDIC TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION FOR ADULTS…

Every year Teton Nordic Team provides Nordic ski education for 40 – 80 kids up to high school age. This year Chi Melville, Lars Onsrud and Kyle Marvinney are taking the initiative to expand the “Team” to include adults in a Masters program. Beginners find the terms “Team” and “Masters” intimidating so let me make it perfectly clear that all TNT members are automatically on the “Team” regardless if they are competing or not. The Masters program is designed for adults of all abilities with a wish to become better skiers in a social setting.

Alpine Wines on Main Street Driggs is opening exclusively for TNT on Monday, July 23 at 7 – 9 pm where Chi, Lars and Kyle will present the TNT Masters program as they envision it. Because this is a new program they want feedback from the Nordic community up-front to be sure their program will meet the needs and expectations of potential Master skiers. So far the response to the idea is unanimously positive and by adjusting training, training times and costs based on the feedback from this meeting TNT should be in a position to present the best possible program to the community before fall training.

To sweeten the deal and emphasize the social nature of the Masters program the attendees will be given a ticket that qualifies for a glass of wine, beer or soft drink at the bar.

All adult skiers interested in fun, organized Nordic training and instruction this fall and winter will benefit from attending this meeting. Spread the word and don’t miss it!
