Comments:

I commute 21 miles round trip each day, and with a change of clothes, lunch, bike lock, essential bike tools, and laptop/paperwork, the backpack was really wearing me down. I wanted something that would stay out of the way of peddling, wasn't bulky, had plenty of space for all of my gear, was easy to take into the office with me, and somewhat less importantly, wouldn't look out of place on my Trek Madone 3.1 commuter. These fit the bill and then some. While expensive, they really do everything I wanted. They're simple to clip on and off the bike rack, and the included shoulder strap makes taking them with me into the office easy. I even get compliments on the way the bag looks when off the bike. The added laptop sleeve carries my laptop securely, though it would be nice to have a few more zippered pockets for ID badge, keys, etc. Overall, I highly recommend these for carrying the every day needs of a commuter.
