WTB's one and only VelociRaptor is the choice for riders looking for an all-around tire for most conditions. Even meaner today than the day they were first released, these front and rear specific tires are the benchmark from the East coast to the West coast, from the desert to the deep woods. The front is known for its steering control and cornering under loads, while the rear climbs with the solid tenacity of a bulldozer, corners predictably and brakes with authoritative control. The 2.1-inch rides like a much wider tire, yet remains a fast-rolling choice.

The folding tire is about 700 grams which is reasonably light for a knobby tire with long wearing rubber. Rear tire locks up great with the bars on the tread pattern. I am 220lbs and run about 35 to 40 psi. not prone to pinch flats. Lighter tires are available but you might be giving up some traction or durability. I take them to Moab alot and they will take light free ride as well. The fact the tires has been in production since 1995 says alot. They work

Comments:
The tires have great traction no compromise and they costed under $30 a piece. The front tire gives you solid turning traction while the rear tire just asks for more terrain to role over.
