I compared Trek to other brands and for the money I think its a great bike. I have been out of biking for a number of years, and this bike is making it easy for me to get back in and enjoy riding. I am using for exercise and leisurely riding.

First new bike in over 10 years. Bought a comfort bike since I am 5' 10" and 250 pounds. Awesome bike! Super comfortable and nice, upright riding position. No neck or back discomfort whatsoever. Suspension and seat post shocks smooth out the bumps along with the 26 inch tires. No complaints at all. Very happy with purchase. Easy and enjoyable to ride. Can't go wrong with this one.

My wife and I both bought new bikes for Christmas. Our old bikes were good in their day but the Trek is absolutely an amazing bike. We can't get over the ease of pedalling and the click shift is smooth. We love our new bikes and as casual riders, ride approximately 10 miles a day. The Trek is a wonderful bike.

I bought a His and Hers for my wife and I. I'm now 60 and wife is 53. We've owned several Treks and have always been impressed with the quality. The Shift lineup is a great all around bike for those of us that are not into marathon rides. We can ride a few miles, enjoy ourselves, and get the exercise we need. These bikes are very stable and very easy to ride. We look forward to many years of use and enjoyment from these. Great job Trek.

I had a trek navigator 2.0. This bike is a big step up. The speed shifters are much better than pistol shifters. Better wheels and tires. I haven't filled up in a month of service. The navigator required weekly. Lock out fork is a must for the road. The grip significantly reduce hand pain. Get the 3.0 over the 2.0. The shift 2.0 in very similar to the navigator 2.0. This bike is way more comfy than my trek 1.1 road bike but about .5 kph slower
