I have always loved riding bike, 20 years ago I suffered a wrist injury which cause servere pain riding a road bike. With the Shift 2, I set up straighter, which places less pressure on the wrists, and I have almost no pain.

Everyday pleasure riding. Everything but the uncomfortable seat. Will be replaced with a Bontrager Comfort seat when they come in.

Knee problems & tibia bone tumor pain had stopped me from bicycling. The hybrid, due to its design allowed me to ride again without the pain. Very pleased with bicycle. This was a passion of mine earlier in life which I thought I would have to forever give up. Thanks Trek!

This is my first bike since living in a very unsafe area with narrow, high-pitched, busy roads. Great to be back in the saddle feeling confident and adventurous.
Comments:
I'm 66 was riding a Harley for the last 20 years recently moved to Florida which has numerous wonderful bike trails. I started on an old used huffy went to the Trek dealer who allowed me toride several types and I was hoping to not notice a big difference to the Huffy that I had..Well there was a huge difference the adage you get what you pay for. The Trek bike is all quality. I started down 1 mile then 5 miles then 10.now I'm up to 25 but I know for real bikers that's nothing but for me it's been huge. you end up going places you would normally not, see things you normally would not see so it's been a blast and I recommended highly

Great for casual city riding, trails or long distance. Shock absorber on fork and seat handle bumps well. 21 speed shifter is smooth and easy to operate. The LBS was very professional and friendly. Installed water bottle, LED lights, pouch bag, lock bracket and odometer. Even installed a high-tech bike rack for car travel. Highly recommend!
