Trek's Remedy enhanced the skills of riders everywhere. Trek does it again by adding 29-inch wheels for the Remedy 9 29. This 29er features 140mm of front/rear Fox travel from a Float 34 CTD fork and a Float DRCV CTD shock to make it climb like an XC bike, yet laugh off big hits and plow through chunder like a Remedy should. The aluminum frame sports an E2 head tube and a 142x12mm rear end for point-n-slash precision and quick cornering. Powering you uphill is a 2x10 XT group, slowing you down are the legendary XT discs and the wheels? How about tubeless-ready Bontragers with fat rubber? From the deep forests of Vancouver, to the red rocks of Sedona, to your favorite trail, this is the Remedy to any obstacle.

I bought a Trek Remedy 9 2014, and the bike really is a spectacle. There are no obstacles for it aggressive temperament on track but fantastic results! On the descent of the mountain is really a pleasant surprise!

I did more research on this bike than I really care to admit. In the end I bought the TRECK Remedy 9 - 29 and I have not had any regrets at all. This bike has met everyone of my needs and expectations. I have yet to fined a situation that this bike can not handle. I have destroyed other bike on rides that this Remedy eats up. There was one weakness In the armour of my Remedy and that was the rear wheel that bent after one particularly interesting ride. The bike still got me home. A few minutes on the turing stand at the local bike shop and I was rolling again with not issues. Bottom line TRECK has done a great job on this bike.

This is my first expensive mountain bike and I could not be more happy with it. The tune-ability of the fork and shock (CTD), frame geometry (Mino Link), seat height (Rockshox Stealth Dropper Seat), etc... makes it capable of tackling XC to Downhill terrain, and of course everything in between. The wheels and suspension eat up many bumps and obstacles that I had to worry about before on my 26" full-suspension mtb and 29er hardtail mtb. No noticeable cons here, although reaching down to adjust the shock mid-ride is a slight hassle. However, at this price point, remote adjustable technology is absurd, so kudos to the Trek staff for the value they packed into this bike and their attention to detail!

While being 42, I still ride like I'm 25. Which means I feel my age on day 3-4 after a big ride weekend. The Remedy 26 and Roscoe were my bikes before this and all the reviews said the 29 sails past the 26ers. Took the leap and Remedy 29 does exactly what reviers wrote. I'm on the Remedy I knew, but it's doing more of the same and better. Bigger hits, rougher lines, choppy climbs, or descents and what I couldn't do before, I am on Remedy 29. Be clear, I am a rough and nimble bike kind of rider, but the 29 makes me more the rider I want to be. All day, pushing my limits, not skipping the bigger lines, and riding, not hiking the climbs. I'm by no means the fastest, but I'm there, happy, rolling and feeling great. Trek hit the nail on the head with this bike, in my opinion. A tough, reliable feeling bike with a smart component group. I can't wait to take this bike all over the country. Couldn't be happier.

With only 10 rides in,THIS BIKE ROCKS, it turns trails into mild dirt roads. It kicks my trusty 2011 Rumblefish 2 out of the water.
