I bought this bike on Saturday for my 6 1/2 year old daughter who had outgrown her 12" bike. She saw this bike on display at the bike store and fell in love with it. She rode the bike all weekend and first thing after she got up Sunday morning she asked "Can I go outside and ride my bike?".

My daughter has had this bike for a year, she is now six, and we had no issues...until she grew a bit. Now the seat is waaay too small, and I cant seem to find any parts for this bike on this site. We bought this bike because it is easily adjustable and will last a long time, which seems true, except for the tiny tiny seat!

            Comments:

I bought this bike for my 7 year old daughter. The tightening mechanism for the handle bars is way too small for the bike. This results in the handle bar becoming lose while riding resulting is very serious crashes. Trek covers this sort coming so it is not visible at the time of purchase.

              Comments:

We looked at every make and model but the Trek Mystic 20 was the ONLY bike that fit my almost 7 year old daughter; she had outgrown her 16 inch bike. This is the fourth Trek that I've purchased for my family in the last 2.5 years. I could not be more pleased with my daughter's Mystic 20. Great bike and I highly recommend it.

              Comments:

Certainly a quality bike, but for a 20" bike it is far to heavy, making storage on a hook in the garage impossible for my wife or daughter. I am sure this model can be built just as sturdy at a lighter weight and for a similar cost. How about an aluminum option or thinner wall chromoly?

                Comments:

We purchased this bike for our 4 year old. It was her first bike with training wheels. My daughter rode it straight away with confidence. She also improved on her speed and handling of the bike very quickly. My daughter is a small 4 year old however the bike is highly adjustable and she fitted on it well. She has also been riding her bike on our dirt road, on grass and at the park. This is a wonderful bike and I can't fault it. It's a great way to keep the kids fit and active. I will be buying another Trek bike for my son when he is old enough because I have been so impressed with it.

this bike is great and was my daughters first bike without training wheels. She easily started using it like she had been riding it for years. it is built strong and you can tell with pride. Excellent job trek. I can see where the rest of our bikes will come from for her and her brother.

My daughter loves riding this bike around the neighborhood, on vacation, camping, anywhere. It's light and easy to ride on grass, dirt, gravel or cement - even for a kid who just learned how to ride. She got it for her 7th birthday and has plenty of room to grow.
