The legendary Madone is now available in aluminum! Built with their super-aerodynamic KVF tubes, Trek’s 2 Series Madone smooths the air from the tip to tail to effortlessly turn pedal power into speed and save energy. And up front, Trek's asymmetrical, tapered E2 front end makes the steering stable and predictable so you can slice through corners with pinpoint precision. Meanwhile, Trek's H2 geometry is dialed in for all-day comfort with a slightly higher handlebar position. You'll also love the lightweight Bontrager wheels, the excellent Shimano triple drivetrain with super-easy gearing for conquering the climbs and the quality brakes for speed control. All the Madone's speed comes with versatility, too because you also get discreet rack and fender mounts that let you load up for commuting, wet weather and off-season training rides.

This is my first rode bike I'm 5'9" 200 Lbs and this bike carries me like a dream it seams weightless and light while riding. It handles very well it's fast enough for me, well at least what i can handle, mind you i'm not a pro cyclist. The fastest I've ridden is 35 Mph down the bridge and it was pretty scary Lol ..... but anyway the breaks are smooth and have good stopping power. it comes equipped with Shimano 105 components. These components are swift and smooth like butter to use, no exaggeration. the only and I mean the on two concerns i've had are the seat is uncomfortable, it takes while getting use to it and the other is that i've taken it back to the shop twice already for adjustment to the deraillers the chain seems to grasp sometimes. other than that it rides really well. Don't be afraid take the plunge and do it. you'll love it.
