Trek's Domane was in secret development for three years. Then, they gave it to Fabian Cancellara to race on. It won. They considered every imaginable factor of frame construction to arrive at the perfect balance of speed, stability, and comfort, and they nailed it. Made from Trek's 600-series OCLV carbon, it's feathery light. Plus, it boasts a huge BB and optimized tube shapes to maximize your pedal power. And it has genius ideas like the IsoSpeed seat tube decoupler that make it comfortable and a dream to ride. Gran Fondos, centuries, long rides on not-so-smooth roads? The Domane is your bike. And, it sports Shimano Ultegra components for great shifting and braking, pro-proven Bontrager controls, and legit Bontrager wheels and 25c tires to seal the deal.

Fantastic bike. I bought mine in 2012 and still love it. Great for long rides. Climbs and descends with ease. I don't race, but I did do L'Etape du Tour last year and the Domane performed very well.

I'm 75 years old, but ride at least 100+ miles per week for fun and fitness. This is my third Trek bike step-up this year because I wanted to improve my cycling ability, fitness and have fun while riding. Most of my riding is in the bike lanes, but some has to be on bumpy sidewalks and roads. This bike is smooth and comfortable on all surfaces. I actually feel better physically after the rides than I do before I start.I can't say enough good things about the [...] store and the people who work there. They follow a great maxim of business: Under promise, and over deliver. In short, they could not be better or more helpful.

I ordered my Domane right when it was released through project one. Received my bike two weeks later instead of the 60day estimated build time. My first impression is its smooth and comfortable over common roads in [...]. I can't seem to find any cobblestones here but can tell how the isospeed would smooth things out. Its too early for me to give any long term impression being i just got it yesterday. My first choice was a Roubaix but the Domane beats it hands down.
