I had a hip replacement in May 2013. Prior to that I was riding a used mountain bike to stay in shape. I purchased a Trek Domane 4.3 about a year ago and I'm blown away by the feel of the bike. Handling is superb and crisp, acceleration is surprising and I can handle long rides with minimal discomfort. I fully expect this bike will last me a lifetime. Great job Trek!

I was looking to find my first full carbon bike. It had to be comfortable, fast, and reasonably priced. I also needed it to handle rough roads which my old aluminum road bike couldn't. Typically I do longer rides about 30-40 miles per ride 4 days a week. So after a bit of research I heard about the Domane series Trek. It had several qualities to it to ensure a more comfortable ride and less road vibration. ISO Speed decoupler: Separates the seat stem from the from the frame to dampen road vibrations. The more vertically angled top tube keeps the rider more upright. And wide grip handlebars are excellent for good and comfortable hand positions. All this makes for a versatile bike that can serve as a commuter, touring,cobblestone/gravel,and road racer.

I ride about 230 Km's per week. At 67years old I find that distance is fairly easy to do. The bike is comfortable and I can maintain a good speed on the flat and manage the hilly parts of the rides quite well. This is the first road bike I've owned and my weekly average distance has jumped by about 80 Km's. The wind here in Tasmania can be a problem but again the bike seems to help overcome this without too much of a problem. The only negative is, I can't get out on the bike enough

I recently sold my C-Dale Super Six 4(2012), incredible bike. Sold it because baby on the way. Recently bought a Trek Domane 4.3c and I couldn't be happier. Not quiet as fast as my old bike but the comfort level has gone up 100%. My back and hands being more relaxed and upright has improved my longer rides. I noticed this because before I got this bike I was constantly having to change my hand position because I was uncomfortable. Not anymore with the Trek. This was the perfect bike for me. Trek compact frames has changed my riding experience for ever. Perfectly suited for my riding style, Thx again Trek!!!!! P.S. I am 44 years old and 5'10 inches tall.

I've owned the Domane 4.3 C for 10 weeks now and have logged just over 700 miles so far this summer. To be fair this is my first carbon frame bike, but I am utterly blown away. My hours in the saddle and miles have gone up dramatically over my the amount I used to ride on an aluminum bike.

I got this bike with getting in shape as my main goal since I just turned 60. Started riding in November '13 and out of shape. I'm up to 26 miles in a day and adding distance every week. This feature that impresses me the most in how comfortable this bike is compared to the others I tried. The Domane frame really is smooth and is, at the same time, fast. It handles very well IMHO. I have the 4.3C. For me, this is the Goldilocks of bikes... Not too radical but not too upright. I'm glad I chose this bike. I test rode Scott, Fuji, and others. Did I mention it rides stable, quick, and is very smooth? I will doing Centuries very soon!
