We always take a week long bike trip every year and cover apprx 250-300 miles. This year we did the Katy Trail and we didn't want to use our road bike (Madone 4.5)on the limestone path. My husband and I each bought this bike for this trip and added 28 tires. The IsoSpeed decoupler was fantastic. No back discomfort after each day's ride. I can't say enough good things about this bike. We're older, didn't mind spending a little more for comfort. Totally worth it!!!

I commute to work on this and I take all over the place as well.Haven't had any experience off road with it yet but on the pavement its very smooth. My avg.MPH has increased by 2 and I don't get a sore tooshy until I've gone at least 20 miles.Handlebars are very comfy and the carbon fiber makes it feel like your riding a twig compared to an aluminum frame.I test rode the 7.5 as well and its a night and day difference with the shifting, weight and components.I recommend spending the extra cash, you wont be disappointed.

Trek 7.7 FX is a joy to ride, so light & fast, kind of like driving a Porsche sports car, just fun. I've owned a 7.5 FX for seven years (still do) which is a fine bike, but when I bought the 7.7 I was amazed at the incremental enjoyment. I ride mainly paved roads, but do 30-60 mile days on the crushed limestone KATY Trail and my 7.7 just glides like a dream.

I ride several days a week after work and started joining a 20 mile ride club on Wednesday's! I'm the only one riding a Hybrid, but I easily keep-up with the racer bikes. The 7.7 FX handles well on and off the road, but I try and keep it on the pavement!

I fell in love with the Trek 7.7 FX with just one look. The FX model is lite, sharp looking and best of all: handles well on the road. I haven't taken this bike off-road and don't think I will, but for 12 mile rides locally it's a lot of fun and a great tool to get me back into shape! I would definitely recommend this bike to a friend! It's worth every penny!

I use the bike to exercise and to go sight seeing. As I rode I gained confidence and that confidence allowed me to really reap the benefits of the bike. It's very light and efficient so the work the rider puts in translates to speed on the road. Its easy to control but I would not use it off road. I just rode it for 4 hr+ and the seat was not uncomfortable until the end of the ride. What stands out is the speed(efficiency)

I purchased this bike because of it's good looks, and was really surprised after riding it. It's geared perfect for hills and level riding. Makes you want to go faster. I look forward to riding this bike everyday, and don't feel happy on days that I miss.

I use this bike bike to cycle 10-15miles everyday for recreational exercise and since getting it can't wait to get going in the morning, What a piece of kit, smooth and absolute quality. I have been cycling now for 5 years, am 49-50 years old and love quality items and get enjoyment from using them, whether it be cars, bikes etc. This bike has fantastic comfort for a full carbon frame with pretty much road bike spec', I was looking for a hybrid with full carbon frame and couldn't find one any in shop to trial within 30mls. I eventually tried a Specialised one of the only companies that do hybrid full carbon and Ive got to say the trek 7.7 leaves it for dead in ALL respects, comfort, quality not to mention price being a bonus......as you'll gather I just love this bike, which I do its my absolute favourite from my collection by far.........
