Comments:
If you're looking to do more than just go fast, this bike is for you. I recently purchased my LHT from Century Cycles after spending the five previous years riding a 17 pound carbon racing bike. I wanted a bike that I could take anywhere. So far, I've logged just over 600 miles on the bike and I can say with confidence that the LHT delivers a stable, comfortable ride on virtually any type of surface: smooth pavement; rough pavement; gravel; hard-pack;you name it. I've taken rides on this bike that I never would have considered on the racing bike. I also use the bike to run errands around town, and hope to use it for multi-day touring one day. Transitioning from a racing geometry was a bit of an adjustment, but now that I'm used to it, I love this bike. To make the bike even more comfortable, I swapped out the stock saddle for a Brooks B17, which I also love. So far, I haven't found anything about my LHT that I don't like. It's not a bike for fast group rides, but if you want to see places you've never seen on your racing bike, this bike is for you.
