I absolutely LOVE these pedals. I replaced my Azonic Accelerators with these as they were to narrow for me. Being 6'2" and 225 lbs. I needed a larger/wider pedal. I bought the Drilliums, and will never buy anything else for my Mountain Bike.

I can not trust myself to clip in my mountain bike like my road bike, but these are the next best thing.Wide platforms and pins translate into great pedaling power and control over the roughest ground.

I had used clipless pedals on my mt bikes for 13 years but I never really felt comfortable being clipped in over technical terrain. I switched to these pedals and will never go back to clipless on my mt bike again. Using a good pair of shoes (Lakes) I feel like they are almost as efficient as clipless pedals but I can bail at any time. I feel more confident and am willing to push it harder over technical terrain. If there is any loss of efficiency, I do not notice; and since I am not a racer, I don't mind if there is a slight loss. I ride cross country on a Santa Cruz Blur and these pedals feel great climbing, descending or just rolling along.
