Shimano SH-RT31 Shoes
Shimano's SH-RT31s are great, lightweight touring shoes. The nylon mesh uppers provide high breathability, while dual Velcro straps enable you to customize the fit for all your rides. Shimano's slim-line walkable outsoles have a durable rubber layer which provides extra walking traction. And, these shoes feature recessed cleat mounts for SPD cleats (sold separately) so you can pedal with plenty of power.

These shoes are comfortable and breath well. So far they seem sturdy, with about 1000 KM on them so far. They are somewhat unattractive though. They look like shoes from the set of a cheap sci fi B movie. I wish I could get these in just a plan black or at least not shiny silver.
