The Saris Freedom SuperClamp's innovative front and rear wheel hooks completely eliminate frame contact while providing the most secure hold of any tray-style rack on the market. The SuperClamp holds four bikes and its tilting base allows access to the rear of your vehicle. With an integrated lock and arms that ratchet into place to simplify loading and unloading, the Saris Freedom SuperClamp loves to protect your bikes as much as you love to ride them.

This is a very solid bike rack. A few observations: 1: Very easy to build/install. Probably 10-15 minutes. Compared to other hitch racks, it's by far the easiest to install. This is a very nice/convenient feature, but not make or brake b/c you should only have to do it once. 2: Fits hitch fairly well - limited wobbling. It's not perfect, but doesn't wobble as much as other racks. No rack brand has perfected this, but it is the best I have seen (experience: thule, kuat). 3: Obviously, nothing touches the frame of the bike which is one of its best features. And it's easy to install bikes. I'm very pleased with this rack. Pretty light, 4 bikes fit easily, limited wobbling.

Excellent. Used it to drive from Chicago to Asheville, NC and is worked perfectly. I love that it holds the bikes in place without touching the frame and without the bikes rubbing against each other.

Made in the USA - GREAT PRODUCT. First to the folks that are having a difficult time with the nut assembly that goes inside the hitch. All we did is stretch the metal slightly apart by hand so it stays snugly in place when you install the hitch. I have had my Freedon Super Clamp 4 for 3 months and have enjoyed the ease of loading our bikes. I am a shorter woman, so loading onto previous racks was awkward and hurt my shoulder lifting up to the high loading bars. The lower loading bar allows you to keep the bike in your power zone for easy loading and unloading.

I've been using this rack now for about 3 months and it's really great. The two arm design makes it to where the bikes won't bounce against each other, but is extremely easy to use. I'm not going to go crazy into details, so here is the readers digest version. What I love: 4 bike capability. Even with bikes of differing wheel sizes it works great. Secure mounting of bikes with little interference. Easy to use ratcheting arms give feedback to make feel secure. Distance of bikes from back of vehicle just right to make getting in and out of car easy (may vary on vehicle and hitch options) Things I think could use improvement: Cable locks, they seem just a bit too short and makes it a little difficult to use. Hitch mount, single bolt is simple and works but I think could be refined to be more secure. Pivot system, folding into the up position isn't always a smooth affair. Maybe having the release lever able to move up or down would be nice to allow for one handed operation as well.

Super nice, versatile rack. Set up is a bit tough and you need the right tools, but once the rack is on the car, you'll never have any problems. I have so much confidence that my bikes will always be on the car whether I am driving or parked. The individual locks for each bike are so nice and easy to use. When you do get the freedom superclamp, buy it through your local bike shop and have them install it for you if you are not confident in assembly yourself (especially if getting the fat tire holders). #sweepstakes

We use the Freedom Superclamp 4-bike rack for our family's bikes. It works well with various sizes of bikes loaded on it. Other racks we have had in the past haven't worked well with 20" wheels. The installation was quick and straightforward. It is lightweight and easy to take on and off. We are very pleased with how secure the clamps ratchet down on the bike wheels. One of the features that makes this rack stand out over other brands is how compact it is. The rack doesn't stick out nearly as far as other 4-bike racks do when it's down. It is almost as compact as other brand's 2-bike racks. The only thing to be aware of is how intentional you need to be when loading the bikes. Pedal placement must be chosen carefully so you don't put the pedals from one bike into the adjacent bike's frame. When folded up towards the vehicle it doesn't cover the rear window.
