Maxxis' Ikon, as the name suggests, is one tire that other treads look up to. Great for everything from dry hardpack to loose, this light tire still gives you high-volume and a 2.2-inch width for hold-your-line control. It features their triple-compound technology with softer sides for great cornering, a harder, fast-rolling center section, also helped by ramped knobs, and hard-ridin' durability.

This tire hooks up in all conditions. It performs well on short root infested climbs at walnut creek, rocks the ridge on the southern traverse, flows the mojo at tasali and handles the long downhills of massanutten and douthat with all that you can throw at it.
