So light and fast you might be wondering where your old legs went, Mavic's Cosmic Carbone SLRs are ready to sweep you to the podium. They combine the speed and aerodynamics of deep-dish carbon fairings with the convenience and unparalleled braking power of aluminum clincher rims for wheels that are as fast as they are functional. Plus, the SLRs also feature Mavic's wind-cheating carbon aero spokes and precision high-flange hubs to give you that extra boost when it's time to drop the hammer. Included are a pair of Yksion tires that are perfectly optimized to work with the rims as a complete aero system. The dual-compound tires use a long-wearing, fast-rolling center tread with softer rubber on the sides for cornering grip.

      Great wheel for criterium racing. The wheels are stiff, smooth and durable. These are some of the lightest aero clinchers that still offer a metal braking surface.
