When the pace inches up, the road gets twistier and the peloton stretches into a long, thin line, you'll be glad Mavic's Cosmic Carbone SLEs are underneath you. They combine the quickness and aerodynamics of deep-dish carbon fairings with the convenience and unparalleled braking power of Mavic's Exalith-enhanced aluminum clincher rims for world-class speed and precision handling. If that wasn't enough, you also get the MPH-boosting benefits of aero bladed spokes and Mavic's impressively slippery QRM+ hubs. And, wrapped around these mighty wheels are Mavic's Yksion tires that combine a quick-rolling center tread with grippy shoulders to reduce rolling resistance and boost cornering traction.

Comments:
I just bought these wheels last week and a major improvement happened immediately. Last week on a 25 mile ride with moderate Illinois hills and no wind on a solo ride my average speed for the ride was 20.5 mph. This week with the new tires on the same ride with a 10-15 mph wind I rode at a 21.6 mph pace and I put in a brick patio for 8 hours before I rode. What a great improvement these tires made. In addition, the smoother ride is easier on my arms.
