[...] describes the Giant Twist as a best buy and a very refined fourth-generation e-bike. I've ridden traditional bikes for years (road bikes and city bikes) but wanted a good quality e-bike for inter-city transportation and casual riding around Norman. I reviewed a number of quality e-bikes and believe that the Giant Twist Freedom was the one for me. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Overall, a quality bike with good components – it's comfortable, solid, gets surprising distance from the battery, and provides effortless riding. I fully confirm the above on-line review and suggest you read it prior to making an e-bike purchase. I got a great price on the bike at Bike One in Norman (much better than the listed price)[...] There are a lot of e-bikes currently on the market. They seem to be proliferating on the west coast and the New England area. Some of the bikes available locally and on-line are rather inexpensive. However, my suggestion after researching substantially is that you really need to go with a high quality e-bike if you plan to use it significantly. I also suggest that you purchase one locally so you can get support if needed. I expect my Twist to last many years - a very impressive product and right for the times.
