I bought these for those occasional cold days in NC. They seemed more appropriate than full shoe covers. They go on easily even over my Speedplay pedals and stay firmly in place. With these and an extra pair of socks, my feet stay toasty warm. I've used full shoe covers before and they're a hassle to deal with, these go right on and do the trick.
