These are really nice cold or cool-weather socks. I use something thinner (Castelli Rosso Corsa 13cm)in summer, but for everything else, these are great. I've had them 18 months.

In the winter in Maine, I cycle less and focus on my running (safer). I decided to wear these today on my 3-mile run. When I got back, the inside of the socks had begun to tear away, leaving holes on the inner fabric, under the "B" logos. Not only under my feet, at the arch, but above the ankle, as well. I've never seen a brand-new sock self-destruct immediately. I am 160 lbs and was running easily.
