New for 2014 - Trek Lush series of Women's Specific (WSD) 29er Mountain Bikes. Following Trek's philosophy of designing bikes to optimize the ride quality for women, the Trek Lush features Women's Specific touch points like a WSD Saddle and narrow reach grips. Other features like a sloping top-tube and small 14" frame size brings 29er speed and efficiency to riders of all sizes and abilities.
The Lush showcases advanced technical features like Trek's Active Braking Pivot (ABP) allowing for active suspension even under braking, a Full Floater rear triangle design giving the suspension even more 'virtual' travel, and Trek's G2 geometry, providing a lively and confident ride.
Check out the rave reviews from some of the top female mountain bike media members:
"The small frame with ample stand over is my favorite aspect of this bike. It's fun in flowy, smooth terrain, but also very maneuverable on rocky sections. Trek has been thoughtful in the geometry of its women's specific bikes, and I love the shorter reach, which can make all the difference in keeping the rider's weight balanced between front and rear. The Cali Carbon will not let you down and it may even be the perfect choice for when you need to hit the desert and shake off the winter dust." - Trina Ortega, Mountain Flyer Magazine
"The Lush 29 SL is a well-rounded, technical trail blazer for riders who are looking for some added morale on the trail. I would definitely recommend this bike to shorter riders who are looking for big wheels to advance their confidence and skills in technical terrain. The $3,050 asking price seems quite reasonable for the quality of the components and their flawless performance throughout the test."- Emily Walley, tester for Dirt Rag
"After a season on the Lush, I'd come to (almost) enjoy climbing and began looking at ledgy uphill rocks as opportunities for awesomeness instead of little bastard speed-suckers."- Kristin Butcher, tester for Bike Mag
"The Lush SL shined when it cam to descents. The Fox suspension and ABP design with DRCV technology are an inspiring combination for soaking up hits of all sizes. The ride was very forgiving, even if we didn't get the line choice dialed the first time."-Mountain Bike Action
