Great bike

Pros:
Versatile, Comfortable, Lightweight, Gears Change With Ease, Durable
Cons:
None
Best Uses:
Road Biking, Hard Surfaced Trails, Commuting/City
I bought the his and for our anniversary. Replacing our 20 some year old heavy mountain bikes. We ride on rails to trails and started riding in the city. Riding through Pittsburgh up and down the bridge ramps and hills. This bike was so easy to change gears and so light, we were able to ride up and down ramps while sitting. On our first ride of this spring, wasn't even sore, the comfort and design really made a difference. Our age group is 58 & 60, wish I would have purchased this years ago! Our first hybrid and would highly recommend this for the casual/recreational rider, worth every dollar!

She really is enjoying the bike!

Pros:
Versatile, Lightweight
Cons:
Best Uses:
Commuting/City
My wife has been riding more in the last 2 days than she had over the past 2 years with her department store bike. She likes the comfort and the easy handling - she's able to get started quickly at a light. It is a perfect bike for her commute to work (only 3 miles), and yet it has the versatility for longer rides over more varied terrain. We have no regrets over the purchase.

Love my Verve 2 WSD!

Pros:
Cons:
Best Uses:
I can't believe the difference in this bike and my old clunker. I can ride farther, faster and without pain. The saddle is wonderful and I love that I can quickly raise and lower it. The versatile handle bars are great too - I like my arms up higher than most and this bike allows me to customize the bars to my liking. The shifters were easy to get used to and makes climbing hills so much easier. If you are thinking about a new bike and wonder if it will really make a difference - I'm telling you it does! I am thrilled with my bike!

Surprise for wife

Pros:
Lightweight, Wheeeeeeeeeeee
Cons:
Best Uses:
Bought the bike as a surprise gift for my wife. Once she rode it, she just couldn't believe how beautiful the dark teal paint job was. The bike is so solid and lightweight that she immediately took off down the street in it. Came back saying that she had never rode a bike like the Verve 2 before. I couldn't have made a better choice. Next stop will be the handlebar mounted bottle holder and a bell.

Really nice bike

Pros:
Durable, Versatile
Cons:
Best Uses:
Purchased Trek Verve 2 for my wife and purchased a men's version for me. Great bikes. We like them a lot. Very attractive color designs and comfortable. Added silver fenders for my wife which I may get later in the rainy season. Also purchased the tire liners to protect from thorns which caused us flats in prior years with other bikes. Per recommendation of the salesmen, brought them in for a free gear tune up at 30 days. My wife's needed it as the chain fell off the inner forward sprocket once and the handle gear indicator wouldn't line up with the gear number most of the time. Works good again.

Love this bike

Pros:
Comfortable
Cons:
Best Uses:
Around town, Easy trails
I bought this bike 6 weeks ago and I am loving it. I am over 50 and had not bought a bike in over 20 years. I was afraid I might buy it and then leave it in the garage. Not the case. I ride it every day that I can. It is comfortable and easy to shift. The range of gears has met my needs from steep uphills to easy downhills. I have rediscovered my childhood joy of "just riding around". Fifteen miles can go by and I feel like I've just begun. I highly recommend this bike.

I love my new Verve 2 WSD

Pros:
Lightweight, Comfortable seat, Easy to control, Complete Package, Great Value
Cons:
Best Uses:
I hadn't purchased a new bike in over 25 years and was so surprised at how lightweight this bike is, how easy to control and just how comfortable a ride it is. My first ride was over 15 miles, around multiple lakes in Minneapolis. What a great ride. I know I will put serious miles on this summer.

Couldn't Be Happier

Pros:
EASY TO RIDE, Zippy, Comfortable
Cons:
Best Uses:
Commuting/City, Road Biking
I appreciated that the salesperson started with this bike: I don't need more than 21 gears, but I still wanted something speedy and good for more than just a ride to the corner store. Having the dropped center bar greatly increases my confidence getting on and off the bike, and once I'm on, I feel extremely comfortable: no strain on my back or my neck. The ride is smooth, but I still feel like I can pick up speed as much as I want to. If only it came in sparkly orange, it would be my dream bike!

I love this bike!

Pros:
Cons:
Best Uses:
I had not ridden a bike for a few years and bought this recently. I was immediately thrilled with how easy it is to shift. I rode it the first day on the street and onto hard packed dirt trails. It handled either surface easily. I went up hills with ease. I am over 50 and like the fact that I can adjust the handlebars so I don't have pressure on my hands- I can sit upright. I like the step through aspect also, so I don't have to swing my leg over a bar. This bike is great, I am excited to ride it more. I would recommend it to anyone

Seems to be a very nice bike.

Pros:
Quality, Comfort, Durability I Expect, Versatile
Cons:
No Mount For Water Bottle
Best Uses:
In town riding, Recreation riding
We bought this bike for our daughter. She had been riding my wife's Trek, which is a similar comfort design. She likes the ride and the comfort of the seat. She did not like models that put more weight forward on her hands, so this is a great design for that.
