Lightweight, highly functional
Pros:
Lightweight, Handle On Basket, Durable, Easy To Mount
Cons:
Best Uses:
Had mine for over 5 years - replacing only because I damaged it by trying to carry too much ( a gallon of milk plus other groceries).I use this all the time for small runs to the grocery store and library. I usually just load the groceries right into the basket. The folks at Trader Joes are always asking where I got it!

Sits too high on bike
Pros:
Cons:
Sits Too High On Bike
Best Uses:
Basket sits above the handle bars, so if you are mounting on a cruiser/upright bicycle, it will make the front of the bike top heavy with a load.

I bought the MTX Explorer rack and the wire front and rear brackets when I gave up all driving in town. They are great for errands and I can get 4 full shopping bags in them, then just click them off to ride on the trails. However, the front basket needs a bracket to brace it because it sags down under weight. I used a $0.25 "L" shaped corner bracket from the hardware store between the bottom of the snap on bracket and the bar pinchbolt, and now it can hold 2 bottles of wine, veggies, cheese and bread without sagging. Highly recommended.
