Excellent for the knee from orthopaedic standpoint. I recommend them all the time, or stainless or Cr-mo. Have used for 20 years with occasional cleat or spindle replacement. Right pedal original equipment. Left wears most quickly as it is, typically, the side that one clips in and out of most often.
