If fat bikes changed the world of mountain biking, then Salsa's Bucksaw Carbon completely rewrites the book. The stiff, wonderfully light carbon frame is equipped for singletrack with 100mm of front and rear travel, courtesy of a RockShox Bluto fork, Monarch rear shock, and awesome Split Pivot rear end. Massive, terrain-trampling, 4-inch wide Schwalbe tires and race-ready Whisky No. 9 carbon rims work with the suspension to deliver unparalleled traction and sure-footed stability over rocks, drops, bumps, berms, and anything else between you and the end of the trail. The Bucksaw Carbon incorporates a streamlined 11-speed SRAM X01 drivetrain with a wide-range 10-42 cassette that manages the ups, the downs, and everything in between. SRAM Guide RS hydraulic disc brakes provide loads of smooth, easy-to-control stopping power. And, the final parts spec is absolutely top tier, with a sterling Thomson stem, carbon Salsa handlebar, and stellar RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post.
