Description

Finally, there's a tire specifically made to withstand the demands of indoor riding on a trainer or rollers. Continental's Hometrainer is built to handle the heat and friction the trainer's roller puts on the tire so that you can ride with minimal tire wear and save your regular Contis for ruling the pavement. This tire is only for riding on a trainer; not for outdoor use.

Great Trainer Tire

Cons:
Best Uses:
Indoor Trainer Riding
Races are won in the off-season. Training indoors on a good trainer is essential to stay fit and prepare for the spring races. The problem is trainers are hard on your rear tire, especially if your putting the miles in. Continental solves this problem by developing a durable tire that holds up and performs wonderfully. The traction is superb and the durablity is exceptional. Both my wife and I have them on our bikes in the off-season and the look brand new still. Mine has over 100 hours on it and it looks barely used. One warning though, is do NOT use this tire outside. The rubber is not designed for outdoor use and apparently has very poor traction on actual pavement.
