This is your day: you start with an urban session, ride to the jumps then hit the skatepark. This is your tire: the Bontrager G1. It hooks up in the corners, on hardpack and the street, rolls fast on all surfaces and doesn't get squirrelly on landings or as you pump through transitions.

This tire is so much fun to ride, it will go anywhere you point it. I ride aggressivly and these tires can hang. Going from road-way to grass or dirt is almost unnoticable with hardly any loss of speed. A very soft ride. I like the wider tire as well(26x2.25),I replaced a set of Bontrager LT3 hard-case tires with these(26x2.00)and the move to the wider tire gives the bike a more radical look. I ride an early 2013 Trek 3700 and love it. I would like to see Bontrager design more tires with a larger lettered side wall in the future. This helps change a bland black side wall tire to a wow factor tire just by enlarging the name and model. I shopped for a while looking for a tire with that look and tire tread to meet my needs, the Bontrager G/1 tire does it. Also, I recieved the shippment in three days from ordering to delivery. That was regular ground just before Christmas to boot...Top notch customer service!
