Distance Cycling
I ride about 30-40 miles three to four times per week. I purchased these tires about 11 months ago, and I now have 2600 miles on them. I previously owned Gatorskins, but didn't like the look of them on my bike due to the red sidewall stitching, etc., but wanted something just as durable. After researching and talking with the wonderful folks down at Scheller's in Lexington, I decided to give the AW2s a try. I have not had any problems or flats with these tires in the 2600 miles that I have put on them. They roll smooth, fast, and they are durable. Great all conditions tire for those who just love to ride the back roads and put miles in every week throughout the year. There is a stretch of highway I must ride to get out and back on every ride. The shoulder is full of road debris, and I have experienced flats in the past with other tires. However, these tires have taken the road debris without any problems. Now it is time to rotate them and see how many miles I can get out of them. The AW2 is a great tire, and I highly recommend it.
