Pivot Cycles

Pivot Cycles are some of our favorite mountain bikes.  Why?  Because they ride sweet!  They are plush on the descents yet climb like dreams.  At the center of it all is the dw-link suspension design.  This position-sensitive, anti-squat design eliminates pedal bob during hard pedaling efforts out of the saddle and gives the bike additional traction while climbing whether you are standing or sitting.   But without careful frame design, the even the best suspension will not give you that supple and bottomless feel.  So Pivots are built with details that keep the frames stiff:  tapered headtubes, oversized bottom bracket shells, oversized pivot axles as well as rear through axles.  So all your energy transfers from the pedals to the wheels!
