Full Time Year Round position in beautiful Teton Valley.  This position is critical to the inner workings of Fitzgerald’s Bicycles.  The perfect candidate will have a significant amount of experience working professionally in the bicycle industry and be equipped with detailed product knowledge.  A solid understanding and love of spreadsheets, coffee, strong math skills, beer, and general computer efficiencies are mandatory.  Although this is largely an office position, we are looking for a very outgoing and bold personality who can easily drop into a sales role in a moment's notice to help through a rush.  A genuine passion for cycling and the latest product trends, plus comfort with multi-tasking under pressure, good customer service skills, and attention to detail (this is huge!) are key.  Duties include:

Inventory Management (50% of the job):

• Open to Buy strategy and analysis

• Organized Preseason Buying Plan

• Weekly fill in ordering

• Weekly Inventory counts / cycle counts

• Analysis and sales of obsolete inventory

• Regular inventory updates to website including syncing with POS

• Inventory reporting and tracking

• General pricing strategies

Shipping & Receiving (15% of the job):

• Package and process web and phone orders

• Unboxing, receiving, and labeling incoming orders

• Communicate with customers on special orders

• Back room stock management

Warranty Processing (10% of the job):

• Coordinate warranties with vendors

• Communicate warranty process to customers

Merchandising (10% of the job):

• Restock product on the sales floor

• Reorganize the sales floor

Sales (10% of the job):

• General retail sales

Marketing (5% of the job)

• Product specific online marketing

Percentages of time spent in each area will fluctuate with the seasons.

Compensation:

Salary $31200 to $37500 doe

1 week paid vacation
